Tigers Finishing Up

With one more win, The Detroit Tigers will clinch the playoff series against the Oakland Athletics. The Tigers are up 2-0, winning the first two games at home, 3-1 and 5-4. The next three games will be in Oakland, should the Tigers lose tonight. Anibal Sanchez will be starting for the Tigers. This will be Sanchez's first post season appearance after playing six plus seasons with the Marlins. He goes on to say that he feels good about playing tonight and that their isn't too much pressure being up 2 games. He says he has to play relaxed tonight and have fun. Sanchez was traded earlier this summer with surprise but is happy now, being in the playoffs with expectations of winning. The Tigers play at 9:07pm tonight at the O.co Coliseum on TBS.
