Mike Leshoure's 1st game since Achilles injury.

Mikel Leshoure who is a player for the Detroit Lions came back on Sunday to play his first game since his Achilles injury. Still recovering from his injury spectators did not think they would see him making all the amazing runs and cuts that he did. Leshoure showed no fear as he ran through the many people trying to take him down. His skills were a little rusty but were still great as he showed speed and perseverance.

In the first quarter Mikel received the ball and saw he could not get through the line so he cut to the left and ran. Mikel does a good job with his small short route of getting between the defender and his quarterback.

Mikel's excellent performance has many Lions fans excited about the game and the rest of the season.

Even though the score was 45-41 and the Lions lost it was a very close exceptional game.

 Mikel Leshoure's cut left.

Tigers, Counting Down The Games

Last night September 24, 2012 The Detroit Tigers blow past the Royals pretty easy in a 6-2 win. Up until the fifth inning it was really anybody's game, untill two runs score to make the game 4-1. Tigers star pitcher Justin Verlander improved his lifetime record against Kansas City to 15-2 (.882). Thats the third highest percentage for any active pitcher. The Tigers trail the White Sox by only ONE GAME NOW! Six games remain between the teams including tonights game with a win tonight against the Royals their records could be tied. The Tigers play at home tonight at 7:05pm under the lights in downtown Detroit. Lets see if they can pull out another win tonight.

Wyoming Cheer Pushes Through.

As homecoming approaches the Wyoming Wolves cheerleaders are pushing themselves to their last breath.
With 9 days left until the pep assembly their practices are getting more and more intense every single day.

At practice the cheerleaders must run a mile in under nine minutes, followed by a two hour and fifty-one minute practice. In that practice blood sweat and tears are shed to make every thing perfect for their piers.

"Our practices are intense" says Shawna a Wyoming High cheerleader, "they are probably harder than the football players. We run, we condition, we lift people over our heads and we even dance"

These girls are doing amazing and I hope that they keep the good work up!
